Day 0: Ha Noi - Ha Giang
Pick-up time: 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM around Hanoi Old Quarter and Transfer from Hanoi to Ha Giang by sleeper bus . Arrive and check-in at a shared room homestay in Ha Giang city.
Day 1: Ha Giang City – Bac Sum Pass – Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Twin Mountain – Yen Minh – Tham Ma Road – H’mong King Palace – Dong Van Town
On the first day, you’ll witness a dramatic change in scenery as we venture into the mountain roads. We’ll make a stop at Bac Sum Pass to admire the view and enjoy some drinks before reaching the town of Quan Ba. The tour takes you through the Dong Van Karst Geopark, a major geoheritage site in Vietnam. Along the way, you’ll encounter terraced rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks, and breathtaking views of hidden villages in the valley. You’ll also have the opportunity to observe locals working the land, giving you a taste of rural life in northern Vietnam.
Our riders will then take you to Quan Ba Heaven Gate and Twin Mountains, a famous viewpoint in Ha Giang. We’ll have lunch at a local restaurant in Yen Minh Town. Afterward, we’ll drive to Dong Van Town, making stops at Tham Ma Road and the residence of the Vuong family, known as the “H’mong King Palace.” In Dong Van Town, we’ll check-in at a homestay and enjoy dinner.
Day 2: Dong Van Town – Volunteer Youth Monument – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Overlooking Nho Que River – Meo Vac – Du Gia Village
After breakfast, we’ll depart from Dong Van Town. Our easy rider guides will take you to the most beautiful part of the journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac. Prepare to be amazed by the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, renowned for its rugged cliffs and breathtaking views. This pass is often referred to as the “king” of passes in Vietnam, reaching an altitude of 2,000 meters.
To fully appreciate the beauty of the pass, we’ll ride down the Sky Path, offering a magnificent view of the valley and Nho Que River. We’ll also have the opportunity to capture unforgettable photos of the panoramic Ma Pi Leng Pass from its peak, surrounded by majestic mountains and rivers.
Continuing our journey, we’ll visit more remote villages, such as Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac. We’ll make a lunch and refreshment stop in Meo Vac Town. From there, we’ll drive through the mountainous trail roads of Ha Giang province to Du Gia Village. This picturesque village is home to seven ethnic minorities, offering a vibrant display of culture. We’ll spend the night at a homestay with a Tay minority family and enjoy dinner and local beverages.
Day 3: Du Gia Village – Du Gia Waterfall – Bac Me – Ha Giang City – Hanoi
After breakfast, we’ll explore the hidden gem of Du Gia Waterfall. Saying goodbye to our hospitable homestay hosts, we’ll continue our journey back to Ha Giang City. Even though it marks the end of our tour, the attractions are not over yet. We’ll pass through Quan Ba Town and Bac Me, known for their unique landscape often likened to “fairy’s breasts.” After an adventurous ride, we’ll return to Ha Giang in the afternoon.
In the evening, we’ll take a sleeper bus back to Hanoi, bringing an end to our unforgettable Ha Giang adventure.
